Dear Friends,
We hope that you have all had a wonderful and not too cold start to the New Year!
We have had some chilly days but thankfully, have enough firewood stockpiled to keep our guests nice and warm. With a full Belizean summer just a few weeks away we can't wait to welcome back the heat with a few delightful specials we would like to take this opportunity to share with you.
Hidden Valley Inn is going to "Fast Forward to Summer"! In celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day which are both in April, our summer rates will commence on the 6th April 2010! All guests who are here with us on Arbor Day will each receive a Hidden Valley Inn coffee seedling to plant on the grounds, should they choose. Our coffee is an organic Arrabica bean and grown on the property, and we can think of no better way to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day than by planting some more delicious coffee.
Our "Stay 3 Get 1 Free Anti-Freeze Special" will be extended to the end of March 2010 and then the ever popular "Ruins and Romance" Package will be making its comeback on the 1st May 2010! Have a look at our Specials and Packages page for further details.
Hidden Valley Inn has also formed a partnership with Xanadu Island Resort in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. We now have great Inland/Island packages available between our beautiful and compatible resorts, please contact us directly for further details.
When you live in a remote area you get attuned with the animals and birds around you and whenever you least expect it, something will come up and surprise you, nature never disappoints! On the 27th January, one of the crew checking the trails came across something never seen before at Hidden Valley Inn...A female Howler Monkey! The young Howler has been spotted since then, and we hope that it is a long term visitor. Thanking our friends from Ontario for being in the right place at the right time with an excellent camera! We think that you will all agree, seeing a Howler Monkey amongst pine trees, isn't it something special!
Hidden Valley Inn is also the proud recipient of a Travellers Choice 2010 award on Tripadvisor! The award was for 'Best Service', and we hope that you will agree our dedicated team is entirely to be thanked for this.
