7 NIGHT MOUNTAIN TO MANGROVES BIRDING PACKAGE
Not available during 20 Dec 2009 - 3 Jan 2010
The Lodge at Big Falls provides an exciting environment for birders. The property includes orchard, meadow, forest edge, broadleaf and riparian habitats which attract many different species. From black and white owls, sungrebes, herons and kingfishers on the river to oropendolas, woodpeckers and orioles in the orchard. The relative silence of the pre-dawn is broken by the calls of chachalacas, melodious blackbirds, parrots and parakeets among many others. This combined with what Hidden Valley Inn offers (See the birding page) is a good representation of what Southern and Central Belize has to offer www.thelodgeatbigfalls.com
