Butterfly Falls is a stunning jungle-clad venue ideal for an intimate wedding ceremony. This private and secluded 90 foot waterfall provides a romantic setting and the 20 minute hike down a jungle trail is well worth the effort.

Wedding at Orchid Falls

Orchid Falls offers a thatched palapa and deck built on the granite rocks overhanging the crystal pool below the falls. The wedding takes place outside on the deck. This private venue is located a short 7 minute walk along the river and is a relaxing place to spend time swimming or swinging in hammocks after the ceremony.

Watterfall wedding

In order to obtain a Belizean marriage license, non-Belizeans must have been resident in the country for three days before the ceremony. Please bear in mind that the licenses cannot be processed on the weekends. Blood tests are not necessary. You must have parent's consent if either party is under the age of 18. If either party was previously married, proof of divorce or widowhood must be presented with the wedding license application. The completed Marriage License Application needs to be signed by a Justice of the Peace in the presence of the applicants before it can be processed. Depending on the individual travel itinerary, we will suggest the easiest and most convenient way to get this done. Also required are copies of both the picture pages of both passports and the pages showing the arrival stamp in Belize.
