For Belizians it means the cashew harvest has arrived and it is time to celebrate. The first weekend in May is the Crooked Tree Cashew Festival which celebrates a plentiful and colorful cashew harvest for the season.

Live music, good food and cashew wine will be the agenda for the weekend festival that is held every May. The festival will give you an entire new appreciations for this plentiful fruit. It’s no problem if you can’t make the festival, cashew treats are sure to be lined up throughout the country the entire month, in celebration of this sweet, little treat.
