“Overall Great Place and Must Walk Their Trails”
We went here for our honeymoon and it was great - we got lucky to go on the trails on the property. We had the outdoor shower and this place was excellent fun! I highly recommend walking the trails on the property which only people who stay here can do - swimming in the pools / waterfall was amazing!GroupVertical
“Fresh air, cool nights”
The place is heaven. The humidity falls as you gain altitude, and my first night at Hidden Valley was when I finally slept deeply and underneath covers in Belize! The staff are kind and friendly; Britt and Wayne are charming and responsive. The vistas and waterfalls are worth the effort. Do not skip the Cascade Trail. The meals are tasty (I would pay dearly for some of that granola), and the home-grown coffee is available all day.Emn80202
“Amazing waterfalls, lovely rooms!”
We can't wait to go back. We went with our children, 8 and 10, and had adjoining rooms that connected by a lovely screened porch with hammocks that the kids loved. The outdoor showers were amazing- built out of rock to appear as a waterfall. After having swum up to each of the 3 waterfalls on the amazing property during the day, the shower under the stars at night helped remind us of the beautiful day we had. Lots of excursions off property of interest as - cave canoeing, butterfly farm, mayan ruins, etc. We only spent 4 days, wish we had more time!SikeB441
“Unique, wonderful place”
We were lucky enough to stay at Hidden Valley for three nights, one of which we had the lodge to ourselves and were spoiled rotten by Britt, Wayne and their team. This included an al fresco dinner by the pool under the stars and getting to choose the menu for the next night. We would heartily recommend staying here and taking in all it has to offer - it's like nowhere else. Wishing Wayne and Britt the best of luck with everything and apologies for the tardiness in posting this review! Hope to see you again one day :)Helencroc
“Nature, Nurture and Beauty in Belize”
Peace and amazement abound. The estate feels like a good friend's beautiful home in an awesome setting. Miles and miles of beautiful trails with breathtaking waterfalls - all exclusive to the small property, we felt alone in paradise. Only wish we had more time at the hotel. We booked ourselves solid and forgot to just chill out. The staff service is authentic, and genuine, without polish.Mollie R
Spent four days doing yoga, walking, biking, loafing in pools (both natural and the kind that comes with drinks and umbrellas) and EATING. Hidden Valley has probably the most thoughtful, perfect service I have ever experienced! I could walk worry-free on miles and miles of trails. I have a hard time deciding which aspect I enjoyed more, being pappered with so much luxury and warmth, or being surrounded by so much exclusive outdoor playground , but having both together made this place into a rare treat.Christina M
“Un-Belizable Place! Definitely coming back”
I could not say enough good things about Hidden Valley Inn. First, the property is amazing with the variety of trails, awe inspiring waterfalls and pools, beautiful birds and plants everywhere you turn, cute and cozy cabanas that is just the right mix of comfort and local style, pool and spa were great, just truly spectacular. The staff are all extraordinary! They make you feel welcomed, will make your stay very enjoyable, and try to make sure all your needs are met at all times. This is truly a hidden gem, I almost feel like not writing such a good review to keep this place a secret :) but it deserves all the accolades I have given it.Rodolfo C
“A Home from Home”
We spent four wonderful nights at this property, set in the middle of the Pine Ridge preservation area. The rooms are good, the food good & the staff so attentive, caring and friendly. It was like being a special guest in someone's home. There are 90 mile of trails to walk or drive & excellent guides for wildlife watching. You are given a two way radio when you go out on a trek so feel utterly safe in spite of the very remote situation of the Inn. All the tracks are well marked, so it would be difficult to get lost. There is a swimming pool on site. The gardens are wonderful & full of birds to watch. It really is a little piece of heaven in a wonderful country.Graham_hyland2
I stayed there for 3 nights/days in January 2014 and I must say that I was thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of the resort. Fabulous cottages right up to the outdoor waterfall shower. Total luxury. Clean rooms. Outstanding food. Excellent service. Very polite staff who went above and beyond the call of duty to help us in any way. Loved it! Special kudos to Mihael who even emailed home to let them know I was okay when my hotmail account would not let me access the Internet.winterrelief
